Vote and Win Apple Stuff in the Shopify Design Contest!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Shopify Design Contest! Vote and win a 15” MacBook Pro, or one of 20 new camera iPod Nanos.

To enter to win you have to have a Twitter account, and you simply vote for your favorite store design in the Contest Gallery. When you vote you’re redirected to your Twitter account page which has the appropriate message already pre-written. When you post your tweet, you are automatically entered to win a prize, and your vote is counted for the store design you selected.

If someone retweets your tweet, they are entered into the contest as well and the store gets another vote. It’s as simple as that!

What is Shopify?

What is this contest all about?

We wanted to show off some of the awesome store designs that are on Shopify, build up some buzz and give away some cool stuff to our fans, so we decided to have this contest!

Can a store that isn’t on Shopify be nominated?

No :)

How do I enter the contest?

To enter the contest you have to vote for a store. To do this you simply go to the contest page and pick your favorite store design. You will then be redirected to your Twitter account with the voting message pre-written. After you submit your tweet, your vote is automatically counted and you are entered in the contest.

Do I have to vote every day to have a chance at winning?

No – you only need to vote once. The contest is cumulative, so if you vote on the first day, you have a chance of winning every day of the contest.

Why don’t you allow voting every day?

While allowing multiple votes is a good idea from a promotional point of view, we want to avoid inundating our users and the Twitter community with the same message may times.

Can I nominate my store?

Just go to the contest page and fill out the very short form. When you do, you should get votes for your store by telling your friends to vote for you. Use your social network on Twitter or Facebook and help get votes for your store.

Can I vote if my store is one of the designs in the contest?

Yes, absolutely. You can still vote and win if your store has been nominated.

Can I vote from anywhere and win?

The Shopify Design Contest is void where prohibited by law. You can vote from anywhere in the world as long as it’s legal for you to do so.
